Outrage after deadly nightclub fire sparks protest movement against widespread corruption.

A Bucharest nightclub fire that killed at least 48 people has brought thousands of Romanians to the streets in protests that have led to the prime minister’s resignation. Under the slogan “corruption kills”, demonstrators are calling for more resignations and an overhaul to a political system most citizens see as plagued by abuses of power.
