The Bhopal disaster is widely described as the world's worst industrial accident. On Dec. 3, 1984, thousands were killed when lethal cyanide gas leaked from the Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal, India. Decades later, activists say residents and their children still live in a contaminated environment and suffer from cancer, vision problems, and other chronic health issues. What should be done to achieve greater justice for the victims?
