Pakistani man who filmed ‘VIP plane’ video fired from job

Many accuse company of bending to political pressure after they fire man who posted a video of passengers throwing politicians off plane.

The sacking of Arjumand Hussain, a man who gained fame after his video of airplane passengers offloading politicians went viral, has triggered accusations of political interference. The video shows passengers accusing Senator Rehman Malik and Dr. Ramesh Kumar, a member of the National Assembly, of delaying the flight after they reportedly waited more than two hours for takeoff.

Using #ShameOnGerrysGroup, many accused Hussain’s former employer, a FedEx affiliate, of being politically influenced.
