Is Canada moving to the right?

Changes under Stephen Harper’s government indicate a shift away from progressive policies.

Since taking power in 2006, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s government has been slowly moving the country to the political right. What was once known as a liberal-leaning country is now changing its policies on issues like immigration, gun laws, foreign policy, abortion and the environment.
