Mahmoud Abbas talks to Al Jazeera's Nour Odeh
In this episode of Talk to Jazeera, Al Jazeera's Nour Odeh talks to Mahmoud Abbas, the president of the Palestinian Authority and a man at the centre of one of the world's most intractable conflicts.

Abbas was a founding member of the Fatah movement and earlier this year he played a key role in the formation of the Palestinian Unity Government.

When it was formed it appeared that politicians from Hamas and Fatah would finally work together. But since then the Palestinian state has been plunged into a deep crisis.

The world has watched as tension between Hamas and Fatah has turned violent, leaving dozens dead.

Many more have been killed in renewed Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Al Jazeera asks Abbas if the Mecca agreement needs to be revisited or changed.
