Are US perceptions of Israel changing?
Recent US polling shows that US attitudes toward its traditional ally may be evolving and that American support for the country may not be as strong as it once was.
American Jewish voters also seem to be more receptive to the idea of US public criticism of Israeli policies.
Some supporters of Israel in the US blame Barack Obama, the US president, for this change in attitude.
They accuse the president of turning Israel into a “pariah state” and say that he is essentially throwing relations with Israel “under the bus”.
