In the United States one in 152 children are diagnosed with some form of Autism – a brain development disorder that impairs social interaction and communication and may also cause restricted and repetitive behavior.
This alarmingly high incidence rate is mirrored in countries around the globe, yet the exact causes of the disorder are still being debated.

The UN has declared April 2 World Autism Awareness Day and on Wednesday, Riz Khan will mark the day by speaking with Dr. Jerry Kartzinel, one of the premier experts and advocates on the disorder.
We will also talk to Bob and Suzanne Wright, the grandparents of an autistic child.
Bob is the vice chair of General Electric and he and Suzanne co-founded the advocacy organisation Autism Speaks.
