US Vice President Mike Pence says America will stand by Venezuela’s opposition leader Juan Guaido "until liberty is restored."

His message came when the two men met in Colombia at a gathering of regional countries. They’re looking for a way to get President Nicolas Maduro to step down.

The UN Security Council, meanwhile, is holding another emergency session to discuss the month-long crisis.
