The arrest in the US of retired engineer Ben Ami Kadish on charges of espionage reopens old files and carries the potential of triggering a diplomatic crisis between Israel and the US.
Ben Ami is accused of handing over military secrets to Israel.
The information given to Israel included nuclear secrets and ultra sensitive details on the conversion of F-15 Fighter jets.
The security breach was very distressing to the Pentagon because of the fear that these secrets might be sold by Israel to a third party like China.
