Benazir Bhutto, the former Pakistani prime minister, is due to return home after eight years of self-imposed exile.

Bhutto’s return follows a deal with Pervez Musharraf, the Pakistani president, that would pave the way for power-sharing. She pledged to bring democracy to her country and fulfill the aspirations of the people.

Will her return strengthen the opposition and give Nawaz Sharif more ammunition?

And how do ordinary people view her return?
