Many Cuban exiles and opposition members reside there and many in the US say it is central to the future of ties between the two countries.

Empire travelled to Miami where host Marwan Bishara sat down with Jorge Duany and Sebastian Arcos, from the Cuban Research Institute at Florida International University, to discuss the role of Cuban-Americans.
