At the Geneva Motor Show you can see the cars you will be driving in a few years time, and indeed the ones you will probably never drive, but wish you could.

While carmakers are showing their newest models at the 85th International Motor Show, tech giants Apple, Google and Uber are developing their own autonomous vehicles. 

The growing use of computing power in vehicles, and the ability of cars to connect to smartphones and other devices, is providing technology companies and automakers with new business opportunities  - and increasingly making them rivals.

Can they challenge the big players in the car business and how will it impact the traditional car industry? Carlos Ghosn, the CEO of Renault Nissan, talks to Counting the Cost about the future of the car industry.
