
Sandro de Brito: Cape Verde’s finance wizard
The only course participant from an African island, he is working on enhancing the financial might of his country.
Sandro de Brito from Cape Verde is the only Tutu leadership course participant coming from an African island, Sandro is on the mainland for the second half of the process.
He is Cape Verde’s national director for planning at the ministry of finance where he is supervising the Economic Transformation Agenda which aims to enhance the financial might of the small West African nation.
Besides being the eye that hovers over a country’s finance, Sandro has created a non-profit organisation which supports children as they prepare for university.
He has also co-founded a sports club for the Cape Verdean immigrants in New York.
