Rugyendo: ‘Crafting an African democracy’
The Ugandan newspaper owner wants to learn the secrets of running a leadership course so he can one day do it himself.
An orphan at just three months old, by the age of 22 Rugyendo Rugyendo Deo Arinaltwe, who lives in Kampala, Uganda, had decided to start a national newspaper with less than $500 in his pocket.

Now his newspaper organisation employs 350 other young Ugandans.

Rugyendo also mentors a public policy think-tank and is an ambassador for charities in his free time.
Now he wants to learn the secrets of running a leadership course so that one day he can do it himself.
