Will coronavirus kill capitalism?

Pandemic is leading some to think about paths toward a more equitable global economy.

Around the world, the pandemic has exposed and heightened socioeconomic inequalities. And although governments are responding with plans for recovery, some fear the worst is yet to come. With the world economy in disarray, people who are increasingly discontent with profit-driven capitalist systems say that now is the time to end capitalism and act on radical economic reform. Others want to see more market economies but with progressive characteristics.
