Has 2020 tested our faith?

On Thursday, December 24 at 19:30 GMT:
Some would say 2020 has been one of the most gruelling years in recent history.

The world’s deadliest wars raged on and new fronts were opened. The climate crisis continued and racial injustice brought us to the streets. Coronavirus tore across the world, killing millions, separating families and causing unprecedented isolation. The pandemic also painfully highlighted the deep divisions and inequalities in our societies.

Research shows that times of transition and hardship can prompt people to reappraise their lives, their habits and their involvement in the spiritual world. So how did faith leaders guide their communities through these times? And what should we be working towards in the new year?

In this episode of The Stream, we’ll look back at 2020 and the impact that it has had on hope and faith.
