The Stream

The next US president?

We speak to Al Jazeera correspondents about coverage of the election.

In six months, the next president of the United States will be decided, arguably the most powerful political position in the world. It’s a long, arduous election process that so far has elicited a whole range of emotions, from shock to horror to excitement. The Republican candidates have dwindled from dozens to just one, presumptive nominee – business tycoon Donald Trump. The Democrats are still waiting to decide on their nominee – former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or Senator Bernie Sanders.

How has the election been covered in your part of the world? Too much, too little or too stilted? On the next Stream, we gather a round table of Al Jazeera correspondents to discuss how the world is watching. Join the conversation with your questions and comments at 19:30 GMT.
