Racism and the Australian dream

A recent speech given by Indigenous Australian journalist and broadcaster Stan Grant has gone viral as the country marked Australia Day. In his 8-minute off the cuff talk about the impact of colonisation and discrimination of Indigenous people, he describes the Australian dream as “rooted in racism.” He also called on Australians to acknowledge their history and hold themselves to account.
