Two men test Russian reactions by posing as a gay couple
Social experiment appears to show some Moscow residents hurling abuse at men walking hand in hand.
A new video from Russian YouTube channel ChebuRussiaTV appears to show two men getting harassed as they walk around Moscow holding hands.
The two male presenters say they were inspired to conduct a social experiment testing local responses to a gay couple after the US legalised same-sex marriage nationwide.
Through a hidden camera, they film others on the street using profanity, turning and staring. Some men even shove them while walking past. The clip has been viewed more than 1.3 million times since it was posted on July 12.
