A man in the US state of Ohio attracted the attention of thousands after he posted an emotional video showing injuries he received from burglars while attempting to help his community.
Ronald Moon Jr. of Cincinnati uploaded the above video on Wednesday, and it has since received more than 690,000 views.
Moon said he had been converting a house his father bought into a community center when he encountered the burglars.
“I’ve been over there putting in hours and hours,” he says. “And today I came across the people that’s been breaking in there. This is what they did to me.”
After the video went viral, Moon created an online fundraising page for his planned community center. He has received more than $44,000 in donations so far.
