Station issues apology as netizens hijack hashtag to discuss homophobia in the country.

A radio show in Peru sparked outrage with its hashtag of the day: #EsDeGay (It’s gay). Carloncho’s Show asked its audience to use the hashtag to share behaviours they consider to be gay. The station posted the following callout image on social media with the tagline: “It’s gay to look to the side in a public urinal”.
