Netizens are mocking the call by some for a “Straight Pride” month with #INeedStraightPrideBecause, which has gone viral with more than 37,000 mentions in the past 24 hours. The hashtag began trending on Wednesday after it was promoted by @StraightPerson, a parody Twitter account created in response to homophobic posts by a ‘Straight Pride‘ group on Facebook.
