Many are mourning the loss of an unarmed college student killed by police in California on May 27.
Feras Morad, 20, was shot during a confrontation with police after jumping through a second-story window. According to a statement by the Long Beach police department, the nationally ranked debate student had taken drugs and “displayed violent behaviour” before being shot.
