India’s Times Now sparked controversy after criticising a statement from Indian member of parliament.
India’s ‘Times Now‘ news network is facing backlash after posting a series of tweets about India’s Minister of State for External Affairs, General VK Singh. The retired army chief has been responsible for overseeing the safe evacuation of Indian citizens from war-ravaged Yemen. Controversy sparked after Singh said his experience monitoring the operation was “less exciting than going to the Pakistani embassy”.
