
Canada overturns ban on doctor-assisted suicides

The Supreme Court of Canada has struck down a law prohibiting assisted suicide, a move that was mostly celebrated online. The unanimous decision on Friday will allow terminally ill patients to request doctor assistance in ending their lives.
