
Animal rights activists protest dog hunting law in Chile
An amendment to a hunting law allows licensed carriers to hunt wild dogs in rural areas.
In Chile, animal rights activists are protesting a recent amendment to a hunting law that allows licensed gun holders to hunt feral dogs in rural areas. The legislation was originally introduced in 2013, but was withdrawn and put under review last March, before being approved in late January of this year.
