No jobs, no homes, no welfare for refugees says Swedish Democrats

Sverigedemokraterna, or the Swedish Democrats, released a new video on November 24 aimed at dissuading people from seeking asylum in the Nordic country. The video depicts an impoverished Sweden rapt with explosions, burning cars and homeless people. Messages flashing across the screen say Sweden has no more jobs, homes or welfare. 

In a Facebook post accompanying the video, the party wrote: “The government has no good choice given the current pressures over asylum seekers. Therefore, we started advertising in Europe and the Middle East to warn those who plan on coming so that they don’t have false expectations. Sweden can’t handle any more, and it is time there is a change, for real!”
