#48KMarch to Jerusalem triggers deadly clashes

Palestinians prevented from reaching Al-Aqsa mosque on the holiest night of Ramadan.

Thousands marched from Ramallah to Jerusalem Thursday in attempt to break through the Israeli Qalandia checkpoint to pray at the Al Aqsa mosque. Reports say two Palestinians have been killed during clashes between protesters and police. Clashes also erupted in occupied East Jerusalem. Palestinians are using hashtag #48KMarch to comment and share images on the ground.
