Refugees in their own country

Hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis displaced as their government takes on the Taliban in North Waziristan.

They’ve become refugees in their own country. More than 750,000 Pakistanis have been displaced by a government military operation against Taliban fighters in North Waziristan. Most have sought refuge in the nearby town of Bannu, with some walking for hours in the heat to find safety. They’re registering to receive government aid but with no timeframe on when they can return home, what more should be done to help them?
