Politician in the Netherlands sparks online outcry after controversial remarks about immigrants.

Dutch politician Geert Wilders is catching heat online after making a controversial comment about Moroccan immigrants in the Netherlands. Known for his anti-immigration stance, Wilders was quoted by ANP news agency at a campaign rally last week saying, “for a city with fewer problems, and if it’s at all possible, a few fewer Moroccans”.

Online, Dutch Moroccans are responding with a selfie campaign using the hashtag #BornHere.
