Piers Morgan wants black Americans to stop using the ‘N’ word

British journalist and television host Piers Morgan sparked a Twitter storm on Monday when he published an op-ed calling on black Americans to stop using the “N” word. Writing for the Daily Mail, Morgan argued that use of offensive slurs by the communities they target “merely serves to empower those who wish to deploy them abusively”.
