What steps are being taken to tackle reports of racism against northeast Indians?

Street harassment, racism and fatal beatings. Indians from Northeastern states like Assam, Mizoram and Manipur who have migrated to New Delhi and other metropolitan areas say this is their reality. Many believe the geographical divide, East Asian facial features and cultural differences are leading factors for the tension.
