The Stream at the Social Good Summit

At this year’s Social Good Summit, Derrick spoke with online community organiser Brandon Litman. Brandon co-founded “One Day on Earth,” a project to create the world’s largest archive of media shot in a single day. On October 10, 2010, the project collected videos from people around the world, with a call to film what mattered to each participant. The results are currently being edited into a feature-length film.

Brandon talked about building a unique online community with the “One Day on Earth” project, as well as some unique footage his company was able to get from Libya at a time when other media outlets were scrambling for firsthand reports.
