League in Lebanon

In 2008 the rugby league world cup will take place in Australia. The hosts are also the favourites, and they will be hoping to celebrate 100 years of the sport in their country by lifting the trophy.

One team who just missed out on reaching the finals is Lebanon.

Despite that, their impressive performances during qualification showed that the game definitely has a future in the country.
