Her outspoken criticism of Egypt’s authoriatarian regime has forced her into exile on and off for the past 15 years.

But in the past few weeks, fearless as ever, she returned to the streets of Cairo alongside her fellow Egyptians, to continue her age-old demand for justice and democracy.

On Monday, Nawal el-Saadawi joins us from Cairo, to discuss her life-long political activism, her part in the revolution on the streets of Cairo and her vision for Egypt’s future.
