We will talk to Aasif Mandvi, a well-known American-Indian actor, who played his first lead role in his latest film Today’s Special – a light-hearted look at the South Asian diaspora in the US.
He has also been seen in Spiderman 2, the Sandra Bullock starrer The Proposal and The Last Airbender.
We will ask him about his film career, whether Indian actors have come of age in Hollywood and also discuss cultural stereotypes in American cinema.
