Islam is creating a place in Europe with the increase of immigration

The diversity of Muslims around the world is often forgotten as the media tend to focus on Islam in the Middle East.

But with immigration and an increasing number of converts, Islam is also creating a place in Europe.

On Thursday’s Riz Khan we talk to the Grand Mufti of Bosnia, Mustafa Ceric, about the traditions and culture of Muslims in the Balkans.

We ask him about the roots of Islam in Europe, the contributions of Bosnian Muslims to this global faith and how European Muslims are regarded by their Eastern counterparts.
