On Monday, Riz speaks with American basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. “Captain Skyhook,” as he’s known to his legions of fans worldwide, retired from the LA Lakers in 1989, but still holds the record as all-time leading NBA scorer.
He remains politically active, making documentaries about the African-American experience.
His latest project is an audio documentary that tracks the history of African-Americans in sports and music during the Harlem Renaissance of the early 20th century.
