Will US pressure lead to a power-sharing agreement in Kenya?
Yesterday Condoleezza Rice, the secretary of state met with Mwai Kibaki, the Kenyan president, and Raila Odinga,
the opposition leader.
Rice also declared US support for a tentative deal being negotiated by Kofi Annan, the former UN secretary general.
Violence since the disputed presidential election of December has claimed more than 1,000 lives and forced over 600,000 from their homes.
