On Thursday Riz speaks with guitar legend Carlos Santana, who has been reinventing music for four decades.
His fusions of jazz, salsa, blues and rock influenced an entire generation in the 1970s, and his collaborations with pop artists in the 1990s put him firmly back on the music scene.
Santana launches the Asia leg of his tour, Live Your Light, in Dubai on February 15.
He talks to Riz about his personal philosophy, racial tensions in the United States, and who he is planning to vote for in this year’s elections.
