Each new year, millions of people resolve to drop their bad habits. Whether it is a pledge to stop smoking or eating junk food, to exchange a sedentary lifestyle for one with more exercise and activity or to spend less and save more – a new year means new opportunities for improvement.
But how do some people break their addictions and patterns while others cannot? Is it will power alone or something more?
On Monday’s Riz Khan we speak with two leading experts on human behaviour to find out how you can overcome your bad habits in 2008.
Joining the programme from Los Angeles is celebrity psychiatrist Reef Karim host who is the host of House of Clues on Court TV. Also joining the show is Dr Suena Huang, a specialist in addiction psychiatry.
