Adnan Abu Odeh talking on Riz Khan |
On Monday, Riz speaks with a man who has advised the kings of Jordan for many years.
Adnan Abu Odeh has been a witness to US and Arab diplomacy for the past four decades.
In the early 1990s, he was appointed by the late King Hussein as chief of the royal court, and later as Jordan’s ambassador to the United Nations.
Not one to shy from controversy, he has proposed that Jerusalem be a shared, undivided capital for Israel and a future Palestinian state.
He faced a military tribunal in Jordan last November after an interview with Al Jazeera on charges of slandering King Abdullah II and inciting Palestinian-Jordanian sectarianism.
