Web 2.0: Craigslist and Wikipedia
Craig Newmark and Jimmy Wales discuss the grassroots power of the web.
|
On Wednesday, Riz is joined by Craigslist founder Craig Newmark and Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales to discuss the grassroots power of the web.
While some critics are concerned that new media and the world-wide-web have made anyone with a keyboard an expert, Newmark and Wales argue that innovative grassroots sites can actually empower those less fortunate and level the playing field for all.
Riz asks the two innovators what is next and how can you keep users from becoming abusers in a forum that is open to all.
