Ex-director of Kolkata medical college and police officer arrested

The former head of the Kolkata medical college where a trainee doctor was raped and murdered was arrested on Saturday, along with a police inspector, on charges of misleading the investigation and destroying evidence. Doctors and protesters in India have demanded justice for the victim since her killing in August.
