Neighbours in the battleground state of Michigan say despite their differences, they won’t allow politics to divide them
US Republicans and Democrats have been campaigning fiercely in battleground states like Michigan as election day nears.
In a suburb of Detroit, neighbours disagree on who should be president. But they also say they will not let politics divide them.
Elsewhere, politics are more polarised. Voters in swing states like Florida, Michigan, Arizona and Pennsylvania will be key in deciding who wins.
Tens of millions of votes have already been cast by mail or during in-person early voting, far outpacing early voting in any past election and equivalent to more than two-thirds of all votes counted in 2016.
