President Joe Biden is promising to boost US’s cybersecurity defence but can he deliver?

The United States has one of the world’s most extensive cyber-intelligence operations.

But security experts say it is losing ground to other nations who are hiring US-trained agents to spy on enemies and other Americans.

Former National Security Agency operatives, hired by the UAE, hacked the emails of Qatar’s royals and former US First Lady Michelle Obama, according to The New York Times.

The revelations follow the biggest hack of US government agencies in December.
