The British government warns Scots of the consequences of its plans to withdraw from the Union.
British Finance Minister George Osborne issued a stern warning to the Scottish government ahead of a referendum on independence.
Osborne was clear: No union, no pound.
Three UK political parties have also launched a campaign against the plans for independence.
