A looming military defeat for Colonel Gaddafi’s troops or a redeployment to new fronts?
Located in western Libya, Misurata has become the most dramatic battleground in the country’s uprising, which began in February.
But there has been confusion – while Colonel Muammar Gadaffi’s forces announced a withdrawl from the city on Friday, they have continued to bombard it.
