The pressure for a peace deal continues on the second day of George Bush’s tour of the Middle East.
A day after he held talks with Ehud Olmert, the Israeli prime minister, Bush said that lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians could happen this year.
The American president says he will redefine the future of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict because UN resolutions have not worked in the past.
