Iraq’s largest Sunni political faction resigned from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s cabinet, dampening reconciliation efforts.
The withdrawal is also another serious blow to the US which had hoped that Iraq’s feuding political parties could pass legislation by September 15th in a sign of political progress.
So, what are the next moves by both al-Maliki’s government and the Bush administration?
